30th Annual Alumni Reunion BBQ

UF College of Pharmacy alumni returned to the annual Alumni Reunion BBQ for the 30th time.

Generations of Gator Pharmacists returned to campus on Sept. 10 to celebrate the 30th Annual Alumni Reunion BBQ at the University of Florida College of Pharmacy. More than 300 faculty, staff, alumni and friends of the college enjoyed a sunshine-filled afternoon in the Pharmacy Courtyard, reconnecting with classmates while enjoying a barbecue meal.

A host of activities entertained attendees, including an appearance by Albert and Alberta, the official mascots of UF. A photo booth, cornhole games and face painting for the kids were popular attractions. Current faculty and students in the college offered campus tours that showcased the recently renovated classroom for pharmacy students participating in the college’s new team-based learning curriculum.

The day’s festivities were capped off by the Florida Gators 45-7 victory over the Kentucky Wildcats in the opening game of Southeastern Conference competition for both teams.
