Two UF College of Pharmacy alumni ranked among the GATOR100
Our alumni are founding and leading some of the most successful businesses in the country.
Alumni from the University of Florida College of Pharmacy are founding and leading some of the most successful businesses in the country. In 2020, two pharmacy graduates were named to the Gator100 — a ranking of the 100 fastest-growing businesses owned or led by UF alumni.
Joe Lawrence, Pharm.D., ’11, and Benjamin Epstein, Pharm.D, ’03, were honored as Gator100 business owners during a ceremony on Feb. 28 at the Exactech Arena at the Stephen C. O’Connell Center. Ernst & Young calculated each company’s compound annual growth rate over the past three years to generate the ranking.
To qualify for the Gator100, companies must have been in business for five years or more as of Oct. 15, 2019, and have had verifiable annual revenues of $250,000 or more every year since 2016. Additionally, UF alumnus or alumna must meet leadership criteria connected to their involvement in the company.
The following are the final rankings for all UF College of Pharmacy alumni-led businesses featured in the Gator100.
